| I like limericks! They are fun and a great way to exercise skills in organized verse—afterall, a line for each rhyme does not a poem make! So, here is a thread for folk to post fun and witty limericks (even dirty ones if that's your thing). While it is okay to post ones you've already written, it would be even more fun if our limericks could be improvised and related to the other posts in the thread. So, let me get started: There was once a man anachronistic; Who behaved in a manner sadistic. When he ran over time, In maintaining his rhyme; It created a stir quite ballistic! Kudos to whomever can catch the joke in that one Jon |

| Okay here it goes again:
We were dazzled with witty-fun lyrics, And impressed by nonsensical lim'ricks. Our uncoupulid ways, Left a stupulid daze, As we channeled the power of Learicks.

| I'll give it a shot... I am never the greatest at Limmericks. I hold nothing, a bag of old, lame tricks. I suffer from thought, my mind full of squat. Now I'll never know how to get cool chicks.I came, I tried, I failed? Haha, Ecto |

| If the goal of a right-witty lim'rick, Was to use it to pick up a cool chick; They would hardly be naughty, Or so full of the bawdy. Not impressed by these is any cool chick. |

| Here is my Limmerick:
There once was a woman turned cat lady, who sat in her house which was all shady. She talked to her cats. And collected hats. And never went out with her friend Brady.

| One unfortunate cat was named Bubble, Who was found cold and buried in rubble; She was clearly a hoarder; Not her only disorder. Talking cats were the least of her trouble. |

It once was a glorious fall day out. The sun and the wind giving all a shout. I kicked up some leaves. Got mud on my sleeves. So now I'll just sit here and I will pout.
Not sure if this one actually works but it has the right number of syllables lol
